Converted bunker for sale!

We love a good, quirky property and this converted Nuclear Bunker is no exception!

Located in Chislehurst, the bunker was built for government officials to use as a point of refuge during the Cold War. It was a Regional Control Centre and one of four bunkers in the London area.

It was left abandoned until 1998 when it was renovated into this stunning contemporary home, on the market for £3,000,000. Some of its unique and special features include a central indoor swimming pool and a large, opening atrium roof.

The team took this challenging development and transformed the site from thick concrete walls and high chain-link security fences to the luxury, glass dream home it is now, in a two year long project!

Past rooms included a map room, dormitory and diesel generators. This has been transformed into four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shower room (which was the original blast-proof entrance to the bunker), a living room, dining room and kitchen.

See more details and photos of the property here.
